Goes back to Ulster, Ireland and I checked the Irish info and found that the names changes as you said. My grandfather was Robert Patrick McDaniel from York, SC down to Mississippi. My greatgrandfather or great great grandfather was Alexander McDaniel but the research has name in wrong place and I can't find documentation to verify yet. jh75501@aol.com
