Her father ,James White, was the "Paymaster of Pensioners". He was a Staff Sargent and had served abroad -according to records my cousin found. I would like to have his full military record and any other record of him or his family while they lived in the CAstle. Can any one tell me how to get these records ? I visited the Castle last Sept. and no one at the Museum in the CAstle could give much information. I hope to be in Edinburgh for the Homecoming and would like to know where to find his records.
