Condolences are extended to the family for their loss. DYKSTRA -- Flora died after a valiant struggle with cancer on October 20, 1994 at home in Richmond. She was born in Scotland and came to Canada as a child and attended Magee High School. She enjoyed Scottish dancing and singing and twice won Grand Aggregate Cup in the Gaelic Mod for her singing. She was a very popular soloist at many celebrations. She retired from the Imperial Oil Limited after many years. She moved to Richmond when she was married. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, Richmond Lawn Bowling Club, Minoru Senior's Society and the Sons of Scotland. Flora leaves to mourn her loving husband Jilt and sister Joan of Vancouver. Her many friends will miss her joyous personality. Viewing Tuesday, October 25, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Richmond Funeral Home, 8420 Cambie Road, Richmond, B.C. Funeral Service to take place on Wednesday, October 26 at 2:00 p.m. from the Richmond Presbyterian Church, 7111 No. 2 Road, Richmond. Cremation.
