I am searching for the birth and parents of Thomas STRACHAN, who is said to have been b. abt. 1796 in Dalnottar, Dunbarton, Scotland. There are no records of his birth in Dalnottar. GRO tells me they will search all of Scotland for him, but I must give them the names of his parents. Does anyone have a clue where he might have been born?
