I believe you know, but Thomas Laught Strachan was my GG Grandfather...I am descended from his second daughter, Elizabeth Howat Strachan. Judy, I believe is descended from his first daughter Ann Wallace Strachan. I can't help Judy on the ship that Thomas & his wife Jeannie came over on, but by family stories & the Census records, I believe they arrived here in 1879. Would love to hear from you.
