My 2nd great grandfather was Roderick MacKenzie (abt. 1838 - 1927). He was a crofter and lived in the Newmarket area of Stornoway. His daughter Margaret Anne MacKenzie was my great grandmother. Roderick's first wife was Isabella MacIvor. She died around 1886. Isabella and Roderick had at least 4 children. Roderick then remarried and had several more children. I was looking for the URL you referred to in your message but did not find it. I would love to research it to see if I can link any of my research to it.
