I assume that you have searched www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk for your grandfather's marriage? (Some people incorrectly assume that the English records include Scotland) If he was married in Scotland, then his marriage should be in their register. Have you tried variations in the spelling of his names? Do you have any addresses for him when he was in Scotland?
