Surnames: Brydon, Dalgleish, Lawson, Renwick, Scott, Usher Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/EgC.2ACE/2307.2463.3912.1.1.1.1 Message Board Post: I have in my possession a marvellous handwritten document/family tree entitled "Families of Brydons" written in the early 70´s (?) by Margaret Renwick Lawson born 1910 and I was wondering if she might be connected with your Brydon line as she was the daughter of Jessie Scott Brydon (1884-1968) who married Andrew D Lawson of Galashields. Miss Lawson´s great grandfather James Brydon of Ettrickbridge (later of Lauder and Galashiels) born 1811 married Christina Scott of Lauder who had at least one son, William Scott Brydon born 1845 who married Margaret T Renwick. As a matter of general interest I am intrigued by the possible Scott Brydon link which I hasten to add has no connection with my Brydon line. That said, I am interested in learning more about the Families of Brydons mentioned in Miss Lawson´s document. Cheers,
