Surnames: OSBORN, COUSENS, PUGH Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/EgC.2ACE/10158 Message Board Post: I have reason to believe that my husband's great grandfather, James Godolphin OSBORNE was born in Scotland about 1839. I do not know the county in Scotland and do not know how to begin to search for a record of his birth. No parents or siblings names are known. He immigrated at some point to England where he was with his wife Emma ELizabeth COUSENS in the 1871 Census in Lambeth, London, England. Can someone take pity on my and help give me some direction? Many thanks in advance. Regards, Nancy Cape Cod, MA, USA
