Scotlandspeople list only 24 events with that surname. OSBORNE is more common, but still there are only 6,000+ events indexed with that surname. GODOLPHIN is even rarer - only 3 events since 1553! My hunch is that their parents were English and they were likely to have worshipped in an Episcopal Church. You would be best to check their registers held by the National Archives of Scotland in Edinburgh. Have you checked publications, such as 'Who Was Who'? Good luck
