I failed to note the word DEATHS!!!! Sorry. Yes, deaths/burials/mortcloth records/coffin accounts have been ignored by the Mormons, and so were not on the IGI, and the scotlandspeople website was similarly bereft of deaths and equivalents. It should be interesting to see how widely they have decided to define "deaths". The Scottish Family History Societies have for several years been amassing death data from the OPRs, but very little has been published - a few CD-roms, e.g. Fife, so scotlandspeople seem to have stolen a march on them. There may be some variation between what scotlandspeople have produced and what the FHSs do/have done. Thanks for clarifying the point, Dave. :-) Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
