Hi Listers, I wonder if someone would be kind enough to help me out. I have been searching for additional information on Margaret MCGREGOR for 2 years now, as of 1861 I know most things about her, however her birth seems to be a mystery she was born abt.1844 in NK Lanark, would anyone know where this is exactly??? I think her parents were William MCGREGOR and Margaret CARRUTHERS but again can find no record of a marriage for them or death records but believe that they were dead by 1908. I have no idea if she had brothers or sisters. She married James HASTINGS 1 Apr 1861 in Hawick Scotland, after his death she went on to marry Daniel Harper GERRARD and she died in Banff. If anyone has any suggestions as to where NK is please please let me know. Thanks in Advance Hayley Graham
