They came from the Newton/Newton Village area where they lived for many years. One William Walters, b. 1699 and wife Elizabeth...? left for America (Virginia Colony) by ship. Name of Ship unknown--looking. They took land in Brunswick Co,VA that over years finally bacame Pittsylvania County,VA with County Seat at Chatham VA The land was NE of present day Danville, If any of that Family or it`s people are out there, please contact me.
