Place of birth is NOT indicated by this. Where the two parties were resident in different parishes, the banns had to be called in EACH parish, so that the indexes will apparently show a marriage in two parishes within a few days: it really means the banns called in both parishes. The odds favour the marriage occurring in the bride's parish of residence, but the registers may not make this clear, due to poor recording. While most marriages are between people living in nearby parishes, some I have seen were between parishes a hundred or more miles apart. There is thus no simple answer to your problem.
