Mother died on voyage and buried at sea, father died within a year of arriving to US leaving the 3 children as orphans. This is a story passed down thru the years of my grgrgrgrandfather...he was only about a year old when his father died and lost touch with his siblings. 'John' eventually migrated to Philadelphia, then Dauphin Co. PA and finally to Hancock Co., OH.
