So you can see how my predicament has arisen from the wonderful precision of the censuses. She married Alexander Nelson in 1820 in Southwark, and she gave birth to about six children with him (Alexander, Isabella, Mary Jane, Alexander, Elizabeth and Emma) before Alexander died, presumably around 1839. I thought she might have been the daughter of James Louden and Euphan Clark in Dunfermline, but that is not possible - unless she married somebody else (Archibald Henderson) when she was having her 3rd child and before she had her fourth, fifth and sixth with Alexander. So I was wondering if anyone could help me because I seem to be at a loss as to which Isabella Lowdon/Louden to choose, as there seems to be more than one Isabella Lowdon/Louden/Loudan who was born in Scotland around the period of 1803-1808, according to the Scottish baptismal records on familysearch.com anyway.
