My Father-in-Law Frank MANNERS family originated in County Durham but he was effectively doing a one-name study of Manners and had gathered a lot of information of all named Manners in Great Britain which I have inherited from him. I have a lot of copies of Wills and other original documents concerning families of MANNERS living in Scotland. I have been unable to establish a link between the Manners of Scotland and Co. Durham and wish to clear out unrelated matter and find a bit more space at home! I am loathe to throw out such precious information which has taken much time and money to gather together.
