Hi there If you have dates of birth, marriage, etc, you could try the Births, Marriages, Death pages of the Glasgow Herald at http://news.google.com/newspapers This site has the Glasgow Herald online from 17 Jan 1806 to 17 Feb 1990. The search engine isn't that good, so you will need to check the individual papers if the search doesn't turn up anything.
