It is free to search, but to see anything of value you will have to register and buy credits. It costs 7bp to sub for 30 cedits and it should cost you 6 credirs to see and download the extract (as opposed to at least 10bp by post for one on paper with a seal) You don't have to spenf the cridits all at once but you could use them for their parents' death certificates (if post 1855) which will give you their parents (for example) The GENUKI site si absolutley free and is a repository of information on how to research in the UK and Ireland - giving libraries, archives, details about certificates etc. It will also give information about the counties and towns you are interested in. The LDS site www.familysearch.org is free and amy have the marriage, but you will get more information on the real certificate. You say you are after the amrriage of George and Elizabeth COLLIE - what was her maiden name? Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
