My 4th great-grandfather was Felix McCloskey and he was married to Rachel Evans from Scotland. They lived all lived next door to each other. As far as I know know is that my Felix was born about 1750 in Ireland and died about 1794 in what was Northumberland Co. and now is Clinton Co., Pennsylvania. According to newspaper reports he & Rachel left Ireland. I beleave they moved here sometime around the American Rev War 1776.
