Hello, I was wondering if anyone could help me finding information about Ardsheal House in the time period from 1869 to 1871. Joe's Rock research pages give a lot of information but not for the time frame above According to the 1871 census the head of the household was Jane Patterson and she lived there with her sister Esther Patterson , they were 24 and 20 years of age at the time. I am interested to find out how they came to live at Ardsheal House Or any other information about the Patterson family is also welcome, Robert Patterson born 1799 Wigtownshire had a son Reverend Robert Patterson born in 1845 Bradford United Kingdom Old Robert was a Stuff Merchant ( Linen or other cloth material) Thanks in advance Annemarie
