Patrick McConnellogue and Anna McFadden married at St Eunans in Letterkenny in 1856 and their children were Daniel (b 1859 - my gf), Mary (b 1862), Patrick (b 1868), twins John & Brigid (b 1871) & Alexander (b 1874). Daniel came to Australia. Mary married Nigel Higney (1896) at St Eunans & their daughter Margaret Higney subsequently married Robert O'Donnell (1923) there. Brigid married John Scanlon (1904) at St Eunans. At some stage prior to the mid-1800s, the McConnellogue family had lived in France for a time. Records indicate that Patrick snr had a brother Charles who was married to Margy Gallagher. They too had a son Daniel who worked for a time in the shipyard in Govan, Scotland; he married Rose Callan from Govan. Their children were Charles, George, Patrick, Daniel, Hugh and Margery.
