The "Russell" branch of my family first came to Pennsylvania, USA, with my 3rd great grandfather arriving here in April, 1848. In August, 1852 The rest of his family came over. In the 5 August 1852 ship manifest for Thomas' family's arrival, these are the people who are listed... William Russell, aged 50 Ellen Russell, aged 50 Jane Russell, aged 21 William Russell, aged 19 John Russell, aged 15 Robert Russell, aged 13 James Russell, aged 10 Francis Russell, aged 8 Thomas' wife's name was Jane and was born around the same time as the Jane in the manifest was born... which could mean that this could be her, and not a sister Jane, which he may have had. To confirm this, could someone try to find this family in the 1851 census and tell me their relationships to each other (such as, daughter-in-law, etc.) and also their village and their given birthplaces. Also, please note that Ellen Russell may have also went by the name, "Helen". Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thank you, Mark Russell M.
