It's so hard to figure out the right ancestors for Alexander Cruden. The one I want was born in 1867 and lived in California, immigrating 1896. The other one was born in 1868 and lived in Chicago. Other people's family trees both list the family in Renfrewshire as theirs. Not sure how to figure it out!!! In some census records the birth year for one in California, which is the one we want, shows up as 1869. Therefore, we can't rely on the birth year, as I know they can be off a little. Any suggestions? Thanks, again, I appreciate your looking it up for me. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
