Hi Marilyn, You can find out what church records survive by consulting a large number of books like Ryan "Irish Records", Grenham's book on Irish genealogy, the latest and greatest book on Ulster genealogy (whose name I forget) and LDS has a list on film. All these items are in print or filmed -- that means they are old. They don't have what went up on the Internet yesterday. That's easy to find: you google! YOu can also join various notification lists like rootsweb's weekly newsletter (www.rootsweb.com) the surname search thang that I've mentioned here before, probably a few Irish things, but if you are looking for church records, it's smart to google to see if they might have been 'put up' yesterday. If you rely on others to tell you about this stuff, you won't find it .... or you'll not be able to find the URL when you need it. I do a lot of googling and am always surprised at the results. There's also lists of surviving church recs on the web at I think fianna. Of course these various sources might not agree on the status. No one is always right.
