    3. AULD ( Aull) My William Auld was married in Tullyvallin Newtownhamilton c 1825 to Margaret Unknown who died and he Married Sarah Jane Wilson of Mullaghbane ,near Glaslough , c1837 .Sarah and half the children came to Melbourne Australia and george --Margaret and Eliza remained , I assume with the father , who could have died 1888 in Ballminetragh with Eliza . I know the first record of Aulds is the proving of the will of Reverend James Auld 1683 from Killinchy Co. Down . I think somehow My william is connected for they use the same given names . WILSON .My earliest is George ,1768--1854 , married Mary Holland ,1772--1851 and lived in Mullaghbane House , near Glaslough , Family stories have it two generations were living there before George and widow Nan Wilson is living there now . Both families were from Ayrshire . McCORKELL . John McCorkell born in the parish of Templemore 1803 which was then in Co. Donegal and Derry . I think the Co. Donegal part for Jane McCorkell came to Melbourne Australia with them in1842 from Co. Donegal John McCorkell married Elizabeth Holmes in 1837 at the Donaghmore Presbyterian Church , near Killygordon Co. Donegal . Family stories are that his ancestor rowed a boat with his two brothers from Scotland in the late 1600`s . One brother went to America--one`s son formed the shipping company and the third brother went up country . I think I am descendant from him , so I am claiming Loch Awe Argyllshire as my ancestral home . I am coming to the Ulster Historical Foundation`s conference in September at Belfast and it would be nice to say Hello Cousin . Laurie from Australia
