Greetings, My ancestor came to the US during the Revolutionary War. He lived in Ireland at the time he fought against America. He stayed in America following the war. We know that the name goes back to Scotland. I am trying to find the best resources that would locate him or his family in Ireland in the mid to late 1700's.
