My interest is HAMILTON, but 200 some years later. John (William) was born some time between 1825 and 1831, depending on who gave the enumerator the census information, 1860-1870-1880-1900. His Father, name unknown born i Scotland around 1800, went to Ireland, married an unknown Irish women. John came to America in 1840, how? unknown. He married in Grant County, Wisconsin in 1858.
