John and William Gregg left Belfast Ireland on the Immigrant ship "Lord dunluce, with Capt. James Gillis and members of the Associated Reformed Presbyterian on October 4, 1772 and landed in Charleston, S.C. in Dec. 1772. Listed on the ships passenger list with John and William were Jane, Mary, and Ninian Gregg. This group were traveling with the Rev. William Martin and had left Ireland, I suppose, because of religious freedom. The Greggs settled in Newberry co., S.C. and that is where William Gregg died. Some of his children left for Georgia about 1825. John Gregg was in Gwinnett co., Ga in 1830 along with his nephew, Robert McCalla, and family Is anyone researching this line of Gregg-Gragg? Fran
