The archives are full of the results. If you haven't checked he archives for lookups of your surname, wow, are you messing up <grin>. By decent' I mean please don't share your coffee table books or the stuff that ometimes get published for what reason I donno...I think to recruit cannon odder for the armies (chest swelling, sources stuff about brave Scotch Irish oldiers, settlers, etc.). Primarily we want stuff that'll help us find our ncestors. You can enerally tell if your ancestor was a defender of Derry because he was excluded rom paying taxes for his life. You will find farms in New England that are xcluded from paying taxes.
