There is a Leslie family group at FTDNA with six members. You will get a discount. Go to www.familytreedna.com/ And search on Leslie. We were not aware that Family Tree DNA would allow results to be posted on more than one group's results page. My husband is a direct line LESLIE male descendant and we are ready to order a kit for his Y-DNA testing. Are there any LESLIE surname results posted with your group already? We haven't been able to get much response from postings to LESLIE lists and would like some advice on whether to submit the sample through the surname project, which has no results posted, or through this group. Thanks for any and all input. Evelyn Leslie esleslie@bellsouth.net ==== SCOT-DNA Mailing List ==== THANK YOU to all the Scot DNA Volunteers! They give freely of their time and effort to this Project and study. NO ONE in this Project receives any financial or in-kind remuneration for their work. Please be patient with them as they perform the work necessary to analyze and report the findings of what has been submitted to the Project by a multitude of sources. ============================== Search Family and Local Histories for stories about your family and the areas they lived. Thanks, Michael, but therein lies my problem in deciding who to order our kit through. While the LESLIE surname site on Family Tree DNA does show 6 members, there are NO results posted, just the genealogy notes for the 6 members, and it has been that way for quite some time. The site was set up under an agreement by Family Tree with individuals who set up surname sites for numerous surnames that did not have a coordinator. At least I know that if we order our kit through the Clan group, the results will be posted for comparison, but I don't know how long it will be before anything more takes place on the LESLIE site.
