Gwen: I can certainly understand the confusion :-). There was a demand for public information on the news from the Scottish Clans DNA project. So I created several different web sites: a: The Family Tree web site was created to show publicly the DNA test results for anyone that had their tests taken there. http://www.familytreedna.com/public/Scottishdna You can have your results added here merely by going to this link and checking the "add" in the upper left hand corner. If you were tested there then your results will automatically be added with no problem. b: The www.brigadoon.net/scottishdna.html provides some current project information for those that don't want to subscribe to the mailing lists and some other links etc c: The www.scottishdna.net web site will be posting the results from the studies and comparisons on the genetic distance from all results in the Main Database. Those that wanted to keep their identity confidential will be assigned a code that only they know. I've also posted links to the genealogy information on all the Clans and Families at this web site. d: The main web site at www.myfamily.com will continue to host the main database , files and genealogy information from all project members.
