Don't forget Laura Gilpin, one of the most famous woman photographers in the U.S. 1891-1979. She was born near Colorado Springs to Frank and Emma Gilpin, and lived much of her life in New Mexico, where she was known for her landscape photographs, and photos of Pueblo and Navajo people.
