    1. Re: [SCOT-DNA] Clan Leslie DNA
    2. Dear Evelyn: Even though I responded to your first message off list, with the added info you provided, I have further comments. I would still join via the surname project... the more participants shown, the more that will join. That will increase your odds of matches. The results can still be shared with and included in analysis by the Scot DNA Project. AND FTDNA will also, when you provide permission, check against all participants in the studies to let you know results/matches. Being as there is not an "involved" project manager or project team, I would seriously recommend speaking with folks at Clan Leslie Perhaps the clan organization would be interested in stepping up to take on the project. And if not, at minimum, they have access to a database of Leslies and a newsletter. They can put the word out that a project exists, whether they are directly involved or not, and that it needs volunteers to manage and support it. From the info in your message, it would appear that those who began the project did so only to provide an avenue for the discount, etc and have no personl interest or desire to run it, and therefore would welcome someone to step forward and provide the attention it could use to flourish. Yours Aye, Lauren
