Elizabeth, The Keowee Courier is still printed every Wed. Ann Rogers worked very hard to index it and the Tugaloo Tribune. She also did a graveyard index on file cards which is more accurate than the books. The library is open Mon and Tues. until 9:00 PM Wed, Thurs. Fri. closes at 6:00, Sat. 9:00 until 1:00 and in the school year on Sun 1:00 until 5:00. There are three microfilm readers with printers and a copy machine in the SC room. Copies and microfilm are only 10 cents. For a library of its size it is one of the best. We do not have much microfilm other than the censuses and the Keowee Courier, and the Tugaloo Tribune. Greenville Co. Library in Greenville has a lot more book and film and is a lot bigger. But Oconee is nicer than Anderson, Greenwood, Newberry or Union (the other libraries I have worked in). I am proud of the job our little county has done in this area. Hope to see you all there someday! Susan Brock Booker
