I'm looking for anyone knowledgeable about the SC land grants of 1790's in old Pendleton Co, particularly those grants made by special land courts concerning land granted by the State of Georgia east of the Tugalo River before the Treaty of Beaufort which I recall was in 1787(?). I am specifically interested in plots of land directly adjacent the Tugalo River and very near the town of Madison. Please contact me privately if you can help me.
