I too have some Leathers in Oconee SC. They married into my Maret family. Asa Leathers b abt 1829 SC had at least 2 sons: Robert Franklin Leathers b 1848 SC d 1909 md Mary E. Maret abt 1878. They had a son, John b abt 1879. William Warren Leathers b abt 1859 SC md Amanda Missouri Maret Then in 1928 Hazel Caroline Leathers md William Hison Keese. Does this connect with yours?
