Asa LEATHERS married Rebecca ISBELL. He was born on 19 September 1819. He died on 20 January 1900 at age 80. He was buried after 20 January 1900 in South Union Baptist Church, Oconee Co., SC. A. Amanda Emily LEATHERS was born on 23 September 1845 in Oconee Co., SC. She married Lewis Ezra CROMER, son of Lewis CROMER and Annie Kate DICKERT, on 18 November 1866 in Oconee Co., SC; She died on 28 October 1894 in Oconee Co., SC, at age 49; from Typhoid fever. She was buried in South Union Baptist Church, South Union, Oconee Co., SC. 1. Redie Rebecca CROMER married John W. GIBSON; Johnny had 11 children by his first wife. Redie was born on 20 October 1867. She died on 24 March 1947 at age 79. She was buried after 24 March 1947 in Cross Roads Baptist Church. 2. Martha Clementine CROMER married John ISBELL, son of (--?--) ISBELL. She was born on 21 February 1870. She died on 9 November 1921 in Columbia, SC, at age 51; she had a nervous breakdown after the death of Eunice; died in an asylum. She was buried in South Union Baptist Church, Oconee Co., SC; her name on the tombstone is Clemmie Cromer Isbell. 3. Cornelia Carolina CROMER married Patrick Henry ISBELL, son of (--?--) ISBELL; no children. She also went by the name of Corrie. She was born on 2 February 1872. She died on 2 November 1949 at age 77. She was buried in Mountain View Cemetery, Seneca, Oconee Co., SC. 4. Jacob Jasper CROMER was born on 23 March 1878 in South Union, Oconee Co., SC. He married Sarah Ida MCLESKEY, daughter of Joseph Ashberry MCLESKEY and Narcissa Clementine DOBBINS, on 15 June 1902 in Tokeena, Oconee Co., SC. He died on 8 January 1940 in Seneca, Oconee Co., SC, at age 61. He was buried circa 10 January 1940 in Mountain View Cemetery, Seneca, Oconee Co., SC. B. Harrison S. LEATHERS was born on 17 October 1855. He died on 24 March 1883 at age 27. C. Andrew W. LEATHERS was born on 4 March 1857. He died on 28 March 1872 at age 15. D. David LEATHERS was born on 9 July 1865. He died on 14 September 1893 at age 28. He was buried in South Union Baptist Church, South Union, Oconee Co., SC.
