Is anyone researching Cromers in SC? My wife is from that family and I understand there were a lot in Anderson and Oconee Cos. I'm researching Lewis Cromer, b. 1809 in Newberry Co., SC; m. Annie Kate Dickert, moved to Anderson Co, died there in 1882. I believe they had the following children: Mary, Nancy, Jacob, Hezekiah, Wesley, Lewis Ezra, Edrew, Ellen, Lewis Jr. Lewis Ezra married Amanda Leathers.
