My family's post office was listed as Waltons Ford, Pickens county, South Carolina. If any body knows how I could go about finding this location I would certainty appreciate it. I have asked U.S. Post office and the ones I asked didn't know how to go about finding it. ******************************************************************* Pickens County in 1860 included some if not all of what is Oconee County today (which wasn't formed in 1860), so the reply you received referencing what is now in Oconee County might be correct. Maybe some of the folks in Oconee County can answer, assuming the list is still active.
