Trying to locate my JONATHAN BRIDGES line in SC - b. 27 Sep. 1775. He married in SC, NANCY PATAN/PATON/PATTON, who was b. in SC 1783-1785. They went to KY after birth of first child, CHARLOTTE BRIDGES about 1804. My ancestor, MARIAH GREEN BRIDGES, was born in 1805, Lincoln or Barren Co., KY. We think they lived in the part of Barren Co., KY that became Allen Co., KY. Six more children were born in KY: THOMAS BRIDGES, ISAAC TITSWORTH BRIDGES, MARGARET BRIDGES, JOHN J. JACKSON BRIDGES, ELIZABETH BRIDGES, and MARTHA BRIDGES. Last child in family was born in Lawrence Co., Indiana in 1829, EDMOND GREEN BRIDGES. Parents lived rest of life and died in Martin Co., IN.
