PRINCE. Perhaps we can share ideas and clues. The 1850 census of Pickens Co., SC shows a JESSE PRINCE, age 22, living in the household of ISAAC and JUDITH ANDERSON. Then the 1860 census of Pickens county shows: JESSE W. PRINCE, age 28, listed with ENOCH PRINCE, age 23, HESTER A. PRINCE, age 19, ADELINE PRINCE, age 2, MARY J. PRINCE, age 2 mos. I presume this is your JESSE W. PRINCE, just prior to his marriage to ELLINORA. The 1870 census of Pickens shows: ELLANDER PRINCE, age 35; ADA PRINCE, age 12, IDA PRINCE, age 10, FOREMAN PRINCE, age 8, ELLA PRINCE, age 5. Could the ADELINE, age 2, of 1860 census be the ADA, age 12, of the 1870 census? Which one are you descended from? My Prince family came from North Carolina, but I believe they have close ties with the Princes of upper South Carolina. Ron Prince >> I received the above info from Ron Prince. Many members of this Prince family were buried in Mt.Zion United Methodist Church cemetary located in Central,Pickens co.SC. There is a link to Issac and Judith Anderson in the 1850 census of Pickens co.SC.,anyone familiar with them?
