    3. My Grandfather was Roland Erwin Aiken. He was raised by Washington E Patterson and I first found him on the 1900 Oconee Co. census. He was listed as "adopted son." I do not know who his parents were. However, I am positive he is related to Archibald Aiken of Pickens Co as Mr. Patterson was his neighbor there in 1880. All the Aiken's there were of his line. Hope one day to visit the county courthouses. Pray to find infomation that will lead me to Roland's parents names. Godspeed.....Patrick
