When you feel like it, send me your postal address and I will send you my abstracts (just Davises and Fowlers) of the 1790 census index of SC) There were 11 Davis families there and they all had males 15 years or under in age so any of the 11 could have been Nathan's family. (He would be 4 years old). There were only 3 Fowler families in Newberry Co. and one was "LEVY" who had 2 females in his family, although neither Nancy (1794) or Emily (1800) nor son Elijah (1811) were alive then. I am not a good enough researcher to know what to look for except for the surnames: DAVIS, FOWLER,ODELL or DUCKETT and especially any combination of those names. Levi Fowler died in 1819 and I believe (no documentation) that his wife Martha, his son Elijah his 2 daughters; Emily, and Nancy and his son in law Nathan then left Newberry County and went to the Frontier.
