Solomon Smith was married to Elizabeth "Betsy" Crow, she was Rev. Charles Crow's daughter and I'm assuming the Smith family belonged to the church. Solomon and Betsy's first two children were named after Rev. Crow and his wife. There is a gap between the second and third child of four years and I'm wondering if there was a child that died who might have been named after Solomon Smith's father. I have been trying to find information on his family for almost a year now and am at my wit's end. Any help would be much appreciated and I thank-you in advance.
