Thanks to all who replied to my request so promptly. I have received this message twice recently. It is from Patrick achi Benson, Abidjam, Ivory Coast. He claims that his wealthy father who was killed by a business associate, called this son to his dying bedside and told him that he had millions of U.S. dollars in the bank and that he should transfer it to the United States. He said he would share 15% for someone to send him to the U.S., serve as his guardian since he is only 22, provide for an education and secure a resident permit for him. He said that he received my name from the Abidjam Chamber of Commerce (never heard of it). The transaction should be completed in 14 days. Louise

Louise, there was a presentation on one of the TV networks (perhaps 60 Minutes) that showed that Nigerians are using that ruse to get Americans to send them money. It is all a hoax.
