Hi folks, In my post of my collateral relationship to the Boozer family from Newberry, SC,and later in Cherokee-Benton Counties of AL, I may have confused some. I am not directly descended this line. At the moment I have only one Boozer in my huge database, and am attempting to fill out her lines which connect through my paternal Allen-Satterfield family of DeKalb County, AL. Allen-Satterield-Chambers is my direct lineage. I have Leticia M. (Lettie) Boozer, b. 4 Feb. 1849 AL, m. 3-Nov.1867 to Newton Isaac Estes, b. 27 Jul 1846, NC. Their daughter Amanda H.Estes b. 13 May 1870 m. 27 Feb 1890 to William Henry Allen, b. 1856, AL Their son Newton Memory Allen is my primary research here. In my collection of research data, I have much to be reviewed of the Newberry lines of Boozers who later moved NE AL, around Cherokee and Benton-Calhoun Counties of AL.There they linked with Allens, Estes, and Tidmore-Smith families, who all are connected to my Chambers family of DeKalb, County in the 1800's. Many of these families were early immigrants from the Newberry area, holding land there, and being members of the Bush River Baptist Church in Newberry, SC. I have a few land plats and the church membership rolls if I I may be of help to anyone. Hope this helps, Best regards, Doyle Homepages: http://www.dwchambers.com Chambers Research domain Surnames under research: Chambers from England Sterling from Ireland-Scotland Cagle from Germany Satterfield from England Kuykendall from The Netherlands.
