Would William Lyles be a brother of Ephraim and Arromanus? Uncle Abraham Gordon 1804-1880 married Cornelia Lyles daughter of Wm.Lyles and wife Jane of Newberry, Co.SC. Mary Caldwell Gordon,sister to Abraham, married Cornelia Lyles' brother,John Edrington Lyles. Mary and John Lyles moved to Chickasaw County, MS. One of Mary and John's sons was named Ephraim Lyles,b 1828 SC and died in 1863, from wounds received in the Civil War. Thanks, Sheila
