I'm trying to prove a marriage date between James Regan and possibly Catharine nee Crumley which took place in ca1810 in Newberry, SC. Is there any way to locate a record of a marriage in that year in Newberry Co.? Another researcher, several years ago, posted to the LDS records that Catharine Crumley was the wife of James Regan, but when questioned as to her documentation, stated that she hadn't kept very good records and had no idea where it had come from.
