Hello relatives and researchers! The Shells of Pigeon Creek Genealogy Web Site has recently been updated with the addition of 2743 individuals in 1005 family groups along with some new photos, documents, and biographical notes. Many of these individuals are from Ann Glasgow's publication of research by her and Robert Glasgow, Jr. on the Glasgow family. Zaccheus Wright married Mary C. Glasgow, dau. of Robert Glasgow and Elizabeth Kinard, on December 7, 1809. He was the son of James Wright and Lucy Shell. Some more of them are from the research of John Wayne Hickman on the ancestors and descendants of Samuel Aaron and Elizabeth Jane Halso Hickman. The descendants of this couple still hold an annual reunion at Sardis Baptist Church in Pigeon Creek, Alabama on Mothers Day. John Wayne Hickman updated, corrected, and augmented an earlier publication of this family's history by Eleanor Hickman Hughes in 1965. Her book, Hickman-Halso, was also a primary source for me.
